• Warning indicators: Modern Suzuki engines are equipped with diagnostic systems that can display caution codes on the multi-function gauge if a problem is detected. This could be for issues such as overheating or over-revving.
• IAC valve failure: For older models (2001-2009), idle issues may be caused by a faulty Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, which the Electronic Control Module (ECM) will try to compensate for.
