Standard 1.2L Turbo
: Provides 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD). This engine is generally considered adequate for city driving but can feel underpowered on the highway.
-
Available 1.3L Turbo
: Delivers 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with all-wheel-drive (AWD) models and is an available option for FWD models on the Select and Essence trims. AWD models are paired with a more traditional nine-speed automatic transmission, while FWD versions with this engine use a CVT. The 1.3L provides a noticeable performance boost over the base engine.
- Preferred: The base trim, which comes standard with the 1.2L engine, FWD, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the “Buick Driver Confidence” suite of safety features.
- Select: Adds features like heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, remote start, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
- Essence: The top-tier trim, which includes leather-appointed seating, LED headlamps, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 120-volt power outlet.
- Sport Touring Package: An optional package for the Select trim that adds sporty styling elements, including a custom grille with red accents, exclusive 18-inch wheels, and body-color trim.
- Infotainment: An 8-inch touchscreen is standard across all trims, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. An available Advanced Technology package adds navigation, a 360-degree camera, and a head-up display.
- Quiet cabin: Buick’s “QuietTuning” technology, which includes active noise cancellation, provides a quiet and comfortable ride, a signature feature for the brand.
- Cargo and versatility: The cabin is surprisingly spacious for its class, with 23.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. When the rear seats are folded flat, this expands to 50.2 cubic feet. The front passenger seat also folds flat to accommodate items up to 8 feet long.
