• Engine: A 280cc, SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft), four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that provides abundant torque in the low and mid-ranges.
• Transmission: A triple-range transmission features five speeds plus reverse, with a three-speed sub-transmission (high, low, and super-low) for versatility in various working conditions.
• Drivetrain: The 
  LT-F300F

   model offered three drive modes: 2WD, 4WD, and front differential-locked 4WD, all easily accessed via a lever. The final drive is integrated into the rear.

• Suspension: A four-wheel independent suspension system, with double A-arms in the front and a diagonal swing axle in the rear, provided a comfortable ride and 8.3 inches of ground clearance.
• Brakes: The ATV featured dual hydraulic disc brakes in the front for strong stopping power in both wet and dry conditions, and a single mechanical drum brake in the rear.
• Electrical System: It used a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) electronic ignition system for reliability, as well as both electric and recoil starting.
• Wheels: The 
  LT-F300F

   is easily identified by its five-lug rear wheels. 

• Carburetor: The King Quad 300 uses a Mikuni BSR29 carburetor. If the ATV sputters during acceleration, inspect the vacuum petcock and check the carburetor jets and float bowl for clogs caused by old fuel or debris.
• Electrical: A common problem can be ignition timing issues due to CDI unit failure, leading to poor throttle response. Issues can also be related to a faulty voltage regulator/rectifier.
• Oil consumption: Some owners report that the King Quad 300 can burn a small amount of oil. It is important to check the oil level regularly and use ATV-specific 10w40 oil, as car oil is not suitable for the wet clutch.
• Parts availability: Since the ATV is an older model, parts may be more difficult to find. However, both OEM and aftermarket parts are available through online retailers and parts stores.
• Starting: The engine has a compression release lever on the cylinder head for easier pull-starting.
