• 5.0L (2 BBL): This carbureted engine was a standard offering from 1998 to 2001.
• 5.0L EFI: An Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) version was available in 1998, followed by a revised EFI system from 1999 to 2001.
• Performance: According to eBay and other engine listings, the 5.0L EFI engine produced 260 horsepower.
• Drive Compatibility: Typically paired with an Alpha One sterndrive, though it could also be used with a Bravo drive. 

• 5.7L (2 BBL): A carbureted version was also available in this size from 1998 to 2001.
• 5.7L EFI (Gen+): A more advanced Electronic Fuel Injection system, known as Gen+, was used from 1998 onward.
• 350 MAG MPI: A popular high-performance version of the 5.7L, the 350 MAG MPI, produced 300 horsepower during this period.
• Drive Compatibility: Depending on the specific variant, the 5.7L could be paired with either an Alpha One or a Bravo sterndrive.
