• Performance: A carbureted version was offered for 1993–1995, followed by the 5.0L EFI and later models. A 1995 5.0L EFI produced around 240 propshaft horsepower.
• Fuel System: Early versions used carburetors, while later models transitioned to EFI.
• Drive Compatibility: Primarily paired with the Alpha One sterndrive. 

• Performance:
  • Carbureted: Used on models like the 5.7L and 5.7LX during the 1993–1997 period.
  • EFI: An EFI version was available on models such as the 5.7L EFI.
  • 350 MAG MPI: A higher-performance version known as the 350 Magnum (or 350 Mag MPI in later years) was rated at up to 300 horsepower.
• Gen+ Block: The 1997 350 Magnum EFI Gen+ featured the Generation+ block, which later became the standard for these engines.
• Drive Compatibility: Depending on the specific variant and horsepower, the 5.7L could be paired with either an Alpha One or a Bravo series sterndrive.
