- Engine: 7.3L Devct NA PFI V8 (“Godzilla”)
- Performance: 350 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 RPM
- Transmission: TorqShift 6-speed automatic with Tow/Haul mode
- GVWR Classes: Ranges from 16,000 lbs to 26,000 lbs to accommodate various coach lengths.
- Braking: 4-wheel Anti-Lock Disc Brakes (ABS) equipped with standard traction control.
- Steering Wheel Attachment Bolt (Recall 22S50): The main bolt fastening the steering wheel to the steering column can loosen over time. This can result in a loose or completely detached steering wheel while driving.
- Rear Caliper Bolt Torque (Recall 22S76): Select units left the assembly plant with improperly torqued rear brake caliper bolts. If unaddressed, the bolts can back out, reducing braking power or causing mechanical damage inside the wheel hub.
- Fuel Tank Paint Inspection: A targeted quality program requiring dealers to inspect the exterior coating on the fuel tank to prevent premature corrosion or leaks.
- Rear Track Bar: The single most effective upgrade. It pins the rear axle to the chassis frame, completely stopping the “tail wagging the dog” sensation caused by crosswinds.
- Upgraded Anti-Sway Bars: Replacing the factory bars with heavy-duty alternatives (like Hellwig units) significantly reduces body roll when turning or exiting driveways.
- Steering Stabilizer: Units like the Safe-T-Plus add a heavy-duty spring mechanism to the steering linkage. This provides a constant self-centering force, absorbing sudden road ruts and protecting against front-tire blowouts.
- Premium Shocks: Swapping the factory components for specialized RV shock absorbers drastically mitigates harsh bridge-joint impacts and cabin chattering.
