- Engine: The heart of the Stingray is a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine.
- Standard: It produces 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.
- With Z51 Performance Package or performance exhaust: Output increases to 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
- Performance:
- 0–60 mph: As quick as 2.9 seconds with the Z51 Performance Package.
- Quarter-mile: Can be completed in just 11.2 seconds with the Z51 package.
- Top speed: Up to 194 mph on coupe models without the Z51 Performance Package.
- Transmission: An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard; a manual transmission is not offered.
- Ride and handling: The mid-engine layout provides balanced weight distribution and sharp handling. The available Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0 uses metal particles in its suspension fluid to adapt to road conditions.
- Driver-focused interior: The cabin is designed with the driver in mind, featuring a squared-off steering wheel and an infotainment screen angled toward the driver.
- Customization: The 2024 model offers new wheel designs, new exterior colors (including Cacti Green, Riptide Blue, and Sea Wolf Gray), and five new racing-stripe colors. The interior can be customized with up to 11 different color options in the 3LT trim.
- Cargo capacity: The Stingray has two trunk areas, one in the front and one behind the engine, which combine for 12.6 cubic feet of storage space.
- Driver-assistance features: Several new standard driver-assistance features were added across the lineup, including automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and bicyclist detection, and lane-keeping assist.
- Electronic rear-view mirror: Now standard, it projects a video feed from the rear camera for a wider, clearer view.
- Power hatch pull-down: Makes it easier to close the rear hatch.
- Key features:
- 10-speaker Bose premium audio system
- 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in
- 8-way power GT1 seats
- Removable roof panel (coupe) or power-retractable hardtop (convertible)
- Key features (adds to 1LT):
- 14-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system
- Heated and ventilated seats
- Head-up display
- Wireless phone charger
- Standard driver aids, including Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Key features (adds to 2LT):
- Napa leather GT2 seats
- Leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors
- Sueded microfiber upper interior trim
- A wider range of interior color options
- vs. Z06: The Stingray delivers exceptional performance, but the track-focused Z06 offers a more aggressive design and a more powerful, higher-revving 5.5-liter flat-plane crank V8 engine.
- vs. E-Ray: For 2024, the lineup expands with the all-wheel-drive E-Ray, which is a hybrid model with an electric motor powering the front wheels. While the E-Ray produces more horsepower, the Stingray is the most potent production Stingray yet.
