The 2003 Polaris Predator 500 was the inaugural model year for this sport-oriented ATV, produced from 2003 until 2007. Weighing 415 pounds, it featured a 499cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a dry sump lubrication system. A special Troy Lee Designs edition was also released in 2003 with custom graphics and was considered one of the best trail quads of its time.
