- Standard V6 (SE, SEL, Limited): A 3.5L V6 engine that produces 263 horsepower and 249 lb-ft of torque.
- Transmission: A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models.
- Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available on SEL and Limited trims.
- Fuel economy: EPA-estimated 18 mpg city, 28 mpg highway (FWD).
- SHO performance engine (SHO): A 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 that produces 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
- Transmission: A 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is standard.
- Drivetrain: AWD is standard.
- Fuel economy: EPA-estimated 17 mpg city, 25 mpg highway.
- SE: The base model includes features like a power driver’s seat, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and standard airbags.
- SEL: Adds features such as paddle shifters, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, and optional all-wheel drive. The Sync infotainment system was an available option.
- Limited: A luxury-oriented trim that includes Sync, standard rearview camera, leather upholstery, and heated and cooled front seats.
- SHO: The high-performance trim features the twin-turbo V6 engine, standard AWD, a sport-tuned suspension, and upgraded leather and faux-suede upholstery.
- Engine: Some models with the 3.5L V6 engine have experienced expensive water pump failures, which can contaminate the oil and cause extensive engine damage.
- Steering: A recall was issued for certain 2011–2012 models for an electric power steering assist system that could shut down due to a motor sensor fault.
- Interior Door Handles: A recall was issued for some 2011 models for a faulty interior door handle spring that could cause the door to unlatch in a side-impact crash.
- Exterior Lighting: Some models were recalled for a corroded license plate lamp assembly that could cause a short circuit and potentially start a fire.
- Visibility: Due to the car’s thick roof pillars and high beltline, outward visibility is limited, especially when backing up.
- Electrical Issues: Some owners reported problems with the automatic headlights and other electrical components.
