- Base Output: Produces 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.
- Performance Output: Bumps up to 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque when equipped with the optional performance exhaust or the Z51 package.
- Acceleration: Achieves a 0–60 mph time of 2.9 seconds (with the Z51 package).
- Top Speed: Maxes out at 194 mph on a closed track.
- Shortened Production Run: Due to initial union strike delays and subsequent global manufacturing disruptions, only 20,368 units were built, making it a highly sought-after collector year.
- Wired Infotainment: The 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system requires a physical USB cable connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wireless capability was introduced in 2021).
- Rigid Suspension Bundling: The highly praised Magnetic Selective Ride Control dampening suspension could only be ordered if the buyer first paid for the full, track-focused Z51 Performance Package.
- 1LT: Entry-level driver’s spec with GT1 leather bucket seats, Brembo brakes, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, and a 10-speaker Bose premium audio setup.
- 2LT: The highly optioned volume seller, adding a Head-Up Display (HUD), heated and ventilated seats, wireless smartphone charging, a heated steering wheel, integrated navigation, a 14-speaker Bose system, Blind Spot Monitoring, and the Performance Data Recorder (PDR).
- 3LT: Top luxury tier featuring carbon-fiber-trimmed GT2 sport seats and an interior wrapped extensively in custom leather and microfiber suede matching the exterior color palettes.
- Transmission Recalls & Flashes: Early Tremec dual-clutch gearboxes occasionally threw error codes or developed small casing leaks. Check the vehicle history report to verify all software updates, solenoid flushes, or replacement campaigns were addressed under warranty.
- Front Lift System: Check if the vehicle was ordered with the optional hydraulic front nose lift system. This mechanism raises the low front splitter by 1.5 inches to prevent scraping over steep driveways.
- Targa Top Integrity: On Coupe models, examine the weatherstripping around the removable roof panel to ensure there are no wind noise leaks or water intrusion entry points.
