• Regal GS (Performance Pinnacle): The track-inspired Sportback variant. It drops the 4-cylinder engine in favor of a muscular 3.6-Liter Naturally Aspirated V6 cranking out 310 Horsepower and 282 lb-ft of Torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic and a specialized twin-clutch AWD system. 

• Base / Preferred (Sportback Only): The entry point. Equipped standard with 17-inch wheels, cloth seating, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display.

• Intelligent AWD Multi-Clutch Fluid Exchanges: Higher-tier AWD models and the Regal GS utilize an advanced GKN Twin-Clutch rear differential capable of active torque vectoring. Mechanics strongly emphasize replacing this rear differential fluid every 50,000 to 60,000 miles to keep the internal wet clutches from chattering or wearing out prematurely.
• Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Purge Valve Failure: A very common issue on the 2.0L Turbo engine involves the EVAP purge valve sticking open. When this happens, it causes rough idling immediately after refueling the gas tank and will throw a Check Engine Light (often error code P0496). The valve is inexpensive and relatively simple to replace.
• Hatchback / Wagon Liftgate Seal Leaks: Some owners have reported that the rubber weatherstripping seals around the hidden Sportback hatch or the TourX wagon liftgate can pinch or degrade over time. Check the spare oil tire well in the trunk for signs of moisture or water collection after heavy rain.
• Infotainment Screen Ghosting: Early software versions on the 8-inch infotainment screen can experience freezing or intermittent Bluetooth disconnects. Ensure the dealership has flashed the human-machine interface (HMI) module to the latest firmware to stabilize the system.
