- Refreshed styling: The Enclave received new front and rear fascias, including a redesigned grille, slimmer LED headlights, and new LED taillamps. New wheel designs were also introduced across the lineup.
- Updated interior: A redesigned center console, new steering wheel, and a modern push-button shifter were added. The infotainment system received wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, and a wireless charging pad was included.
- Standard safety features: The “Buick Driver Confidence Plus” suite of advanced driver-assist systems became standard on every Enclave model. This includes features like:

- Refined Avenir trim: The top-tier Avenir trim was enhanced with unique exterior styling, quilted leather upholstery, new wood trim, and standard Adaptive Cruise Control.
- Engine: All 2022 Enclave models are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

- Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive (FWD) was standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available as an option.
- Towing capacity: Up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped with the available Trailering Package.
- Ride quality: Buick’s QuietTuning™ technology and an advanced five-link rear suspension continued to provide a smooth, comfortable, and quiet cabin experience.
- Essence: The entry-level trim, which now included a standard suite of safety features and leather-appointed seats.
- Premium: Added more luxury features, such as ventilated and massaging front seats, heated second-row seats, a Bose premium sound system, and a power-folding third row.
- Avenir: The flagship trim, featuring exclusive styling, adaptive cruise control, a rear camera mirror, and an optional adaptive suspension.
- Seating: Seating for up to seven passengers was standard, with second-row captain’s chairs.
- Cargo capacity: Cargo volume remained a strength, with 23.6 cubic feet behind the third row and a class-leading 97.4 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.
- Convenience: Notable features included a hands-free power liftgate with an LED logo projection, and Buick’s “Smart Slide” second-row seats for easy third-row access.
