Windows/Mac/Tablet/Phone Friendly
- Engine: A 3.6-liter V6 engine is standard across all trims.
- Horsepower: 310 hp @ 6,800 rpm.
- Torque: 266 lb-ft @ 2,800 rpm.
- Transmission: A nine-speed automatic transmission is paired with the V6.
- Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive (FWD) was standard, with optional all-wheel drive (AWD) available on all but the base trim.
- Towing: The Enclave has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when equipped with the optional trailering package.
- Ride Quality: The Enclave is known for its smooth and quiet ride, thanks to Buick’s QuietTuning technology and a five-link rear suspension.
- Preferred: The base trim came with standard features like an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a hands-free power liftgate.
- Essence: Adds leather-appointed seating, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a cabin air ionizer.
- Premium: Includes more advanced features, such as a Bose 10-speaker premium audio system, ventilated and massaging front seats, and automatic emergency braking.
- Avenir: The top-of-the-line trim features exclusive styling with a unique grille, a power dual moonroof, navigation, a surround-view camera system, and a wireless charging pad.
- Interior: The cabin feels spacious and upscale, especially in higher trims, with standard second-row captain’s chairs and room for seven passengers.
- Cargo Space: Offers 23.6 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row, which expands to an impressive 97.6 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down.
- Infotainment: A standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Connectivity: Features six USB ports throughout the cabin to accommodate multiple passengers.
- NHTSA Rating: The Enclave received a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
- Standard Features: All trims come with essential safety features like a rearview camera and rear park assist.
- Limited Standard Tech: A major point of criticism was the lack of standard advanced driver-assist features on base and mid-level trims. Features like automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist were only included on the Premium and Avenir trims.
- Available Features: Higher trims offer a fuller suite of safety technology, including blind-spot monitoring, forward collision alert, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive cruise control was optional and reserved exclusively for the top-tier Avenir trim.
