- Poor outward visibility: The car’s thick roof pillars and high beltline can reduce outward visibility, especially when reversing.
- Fuel pump control module (EcoBoost): A recall was issued for 3.5L GTDI EcoBoost engines regarding a faulty fuel pump control module that could cause the engine to stall.
- Front axle halfshaft bracket: The support bracket for the front drive axle halfshaft could fail on 2.0L FWD models, potentially causing a loss of power.
