- 1984–2000.5 DS: The body style is distinctly square with two individual seat back cushions. In 1993, the body material was changed to ArmorFlex, a nearly indestructible thermoplastic resin.
- 2000.5–2004 DS: Features a one-piece continuous seat back cushion and triangular-shaped plastic armrests.
- Gasoline: The gas-powered version became available in 1984. Early versions used a Kawasaki FE290 or FE350 engine.
- Electric: Early electric DS models used a 36-volt system, which was later upgraded to a more powerful 48-volt system in 1995. Later electric models also offered a regenerative braking system.

- Gasoline: The Precedent gas models featured a more powerful engine compared to the DS gas carts.
- Electric: Precedent electric models used a 48-volt system with regenerative braking.

- Carryall 295 (2004): This was Club Car’s first 4WD utility vehicle, designed for tougher terrain.
