   turbocharged diesel engine.

• Horsepower: The engine produces a net horsepower of 354 HP at 1,900 rpm.
• Transmission: A Komatsu TORQFLOW transmission provides three forward and three reverse gears. The automatic transmission features a lock-up torque converter, which locks up to send full engine power directly to the transmission when torque multiplication isn’t needed.
• Fuel efficiency: The lock-up torque converter reduces power loss, cutting overall fuel consumption by up to 10% compared to previous models.
• Operating weight: The operating weight for a standard machine is approximately 87,100 pounds (39,508 kg). 

• Blade capacity: The 
  D155AX-6

   was available with different blade options, including:

  • SIGMADOZER blade: Capacity of 12.3 cubic yards. This blade is designed to dig and roll material more efficiently than a conventional semi-U blade, which can boost productivity.
  • Full-U blade: A larger capacity of 15.6 cubic yards was also available.
• Hydrostatic Steering System (HSS): The dozer featured an HSS for smooth, quick, and powerful steering control in various conditions.
• Ripper (optional): The dozer could be equipped with a variable multi-shank ripper or a variable giant ripper. 

• Controls: The ergonomic Palm Command Control System (PCCS) joystick provides precise control of dozing and ripping functions while reducing operator fatigue.
• Cab environment: The large cab was integrated with ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure) and featured a cab damper spring that isolated the cab from the machine body, suppressing vibrations and providing a quiet, comfortable operating environment. A high-capacity, heated air-suspension seat was also standard.
• Technology: An in-cab color monitor displayed machine data, diagnostics, and a rearview camera view, and the Komatsu-exclusive KOMTRAX remote monitoring system provided detailed machine performance reports.
