Common problems

Starting issues: Starting problems, including hard starting or a no-start condition, can often be traced to a clogged carburetor, dirty spark plug, or faulty ignition coil.
Carburetor clogging: The carburetors on XT series engines are prone to clogging, especially when low-quality or old fuel is used. A clogged carburetor can lead to rough idling, stalling, or a no-start condition.

Rough running and black smoke: These symptoms often indicate a rich fuel mixture, which can be caused by a dirty air filter or carburetor problems.
