• Cargo Van

  : The workhorse of the Transit lineup, with various roof heights and body lengths to maximize cargo space.

• Passenger Van XL

   and 

  XLT

  : Seating for up to 15 passengers, depending on the configuration. The XLT trim includes additional convenience features such as standard SYNC 4 with a 12-inch touchscreen and power-folding mirrors.

• Transit Trail

  : A camper-prepped version designed for adventurers, though its availability was impacted by supply chain issues and prioritized for 2025.

• E-Transit

  : The fully electric version is available as a cargo van, cutaway, or chassis cab. It features an 89 kWh battery, an estimated range of up to 159 miles (for the low-roof cargo van), and an available 2.4 kW Pro Power Onboard generator. 

• 3.5L PFDi V6

  : The standard engine for gasoline models, delivering 275 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

• 3.5L EcoBoost V6

  : An available option for gasoline models, boosting performance with 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.

• Intelligent All-Wheel Drive

  : An optional system available on gasoline models to enhance traction and handling.

• 10-speed automatic transmission: Both gasoline engine options are paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. 

• SYNC 4: Ford’s infotainment system is available with an optional 12-inch touchscreen on some trims and comes standard on the XLT Passenger Van.
• Ford Co-Pilot360: This standard suite of driver-assist technologies includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keeping System, and a rearview camera. Optional features include Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control.
• Connectivity: All models come with a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the SYNC 4 system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

• Rear axle lubricant: Some 2023–2024 Transit models were recalled for an inadequate amount of fluid in the rear axle, which could lead to bearing damage and wheel lock-up.
• Incorrect steering bolt: An incorrect bolt used on the steering column intermediate shaft on some 2023–2024 Transit models could lead to a loss of steering control.
• Transit Trail package issues: Several recalls and a service update were issued for 2023–2024 Transit vehicles with the Trail package, including potential tire damage, a loss of power steering, and a possible steering column issue.
• E-Transit battery tray: A recall was issued for 2024 E-Transit chassis cabs due to a risk of battery tray buckling in freezing temperatures, which could lead to a short circuit and fire.
