• 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel: Designed and built by Ford, this engine offers best-in-class standard diesel horsepower and torque. It is available with three different ratings:
  • Standard: 270 horsepower and 675 lb-ft of torque.
  • Mid-range: 300 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque.
  • High-output: 330 horsepower and 725 lb-ft of torque.
• 6.8L Triton V10 3-Valve Gasoline: A robust gas engine that can be prepped to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane autogas.
  • Standard: 320 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. 

• TorqShift HD 6-speed automatic transmission: This transmission was designed and built by Ford to work seamlessly with both engine options. It features a Tow/Haul mode for enhanced control during heavy-duty tasks.
• Drivetrain: The 2019 F-650 and F-750 are available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations.
• GVW and GCW ratings: These trucks have a wide range of gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWR) and gross combined weight ratings (GCWR), depending on the configuration and engine choice.
  • GVWR: Up to 37,000 pounds.
  • GCWR: Up to 50,000 pounds on diesel tractor models. 

• Frame options: Available in Pro Loader, Straight Frame, and Tractor configurations to suit different vocational upfits.
• Cab options: Customers can choose from a two-door Regular Cab, a four-door SuperCab with rear-hinged doors, or a four-door Crew Cab.
• Interior features: The cab is equipped with modern features for a medium-duty truck, including the SYNC infotainment system, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and optional amenities like air-ride seats.
• Technology: An optional telematics modem allows fleet managers to track vehicle location, diagnostics, and more. Diesel models with air brakes can be equipped with advanced driver-assist features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning. 

• CP4 High-Pressure Fuel Pump (Diesel): The 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine is generally reliable, but it is known for the potential failure of the CP4 fuel pump. If the pump fails, it can send metal shavings throughout the fuel system, resulting in a very expensive repair.
• Spark Plug Issues (Gasoline): The 6.8L V10 gasoline engine may have issues with spark plug ejection or stripped threads due to its cylinder head design, which can lead to expensive repairs.
• Interior Glitches: Some owners have reported issues with the SYNC infotainment system and other electrical components.
