- Discontinued Base Trim: The bare-bones budget L trim was dropped, making the better-equipped LS the new baseline model.
- Standard Satellite Radio: SiriusXM® satellite radio is now a standard feature on every single trim level.
- New Trailering Package: An available factory-installed trailer hitch, harness, and bezel allow for light utility work.
- Heated Steering Wheel: A heated steering wheel became standard on Activ and RS trims, and optionally available on the LT.
- LS: The standard entry point, equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.
- LT: Adds popular creature comforts like roof rails, LED fog lamps, cruise control, and a remote starter system.
- Activ: Geared for the outdoors with sport-terrain tires, a rugged suspension tune, a skid plate, and a contrasting two-tone roof.
- RS: The sporty variant featuring 18-inch high-gloss black wheels, unique black mesh grilles, and red interior contrast accents.
- 1.2-Liter Turbocharged 3-Cylinder: Standard on FWD versions of the LS and LT, producing 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. It utilizes a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and returns up to 29 city / 33 highway MPG.
- 1.3-Liter Turbocharged 3-Cylinder: Standard on Activ and RS trims (optional on LT/LS), boosting output to 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.
- The Transmission Shift: Selecting All-Wheel Drive (AWD) requires upgrading to the 1.3-liter engine. Instead of the CVT, AWD models pair with a more traditional and responsive 9-speed automatic transmission.
- Transmission Hesitation: Some drivers report a slight delay or slow downshifts when accelerating out of tight corners on the highway.
- Infotainment Stability: Ensure the system has received its software updates, as intermittent Bluetooth or wireless CarPlay drops are occasionally noted.
