: This turbocharged four-cylinder engine is more powerful but less fuel-efficient.

- Maximum Payload: 1,500 pounds for non-Tremor models.
- Maximum Towing: Up to 4,000 pounds is possible with the optional 2.0L EcoBoost engine and the 4K Tow Package. The standard hybrid powertrain can tow up to 2,000 pounds.
- XL: The base model came with the standard hybrid engine, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and essential safety features like forward collision mitigation.

: This mid-tier trim added 17-inch alloy wheels, a power-locking tailgate, upgraded interior upholstery, and storage cubbies in the bed.

Lariat
: The top-tier Lariat trim offered more premium features, including faux-leather ActiveX trimmed seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, 18-inch wheels, and push-button start.

Tremor Off-Road Package
: New for 2023, this package was available on XLT and Lariat trims equipped with the EcoBoost engine and all-wheel drive. It added a 1-inch suspension lift, a more advanced all-wheel-drive system with a locking differential, and off-road-specific drive modes.
- Seating: A four-door, five-seat crew cab was the only configuration available for all Maverick models.
- Standard Tech: All models included an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims added features like a wireless charging pad and upgraded audio systems.
- FlexBed: The 4.5-foot bed featured the FlexBed system, which allowed for customized storage solutions using modular slots.
- Storage: Clever interior storage solutions included under-seat compartments in the back and unique door pocket designs.
