- Acceleration: This powertrain gives the small car quick acceleration, allowing it to go from 0 to 60 mph in just over 7 seconds, one of the quicker EVs of its time.
- Range: The EPA-estimated range is 82 miles on a full charge.
- Battery: It is equipped with an 18.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
- Level 2 charging: Using a 240-volt charging station, a full charge takes approximately 7 hours.
- Level 1 charging: Charging from a standard 120-volt household outlet can take up to 20 hours.
- DC fast charging: An optional SAE combo DC fast-charge port allows the battery to reach 80% capacity in about 20 minutes at compatible public charging stations.
- Spacious interior: Despite its small exterior, the Spark EV’s tall roof provides a surprising amount of interior space, especially for front-seat passengers.
- Infotainment: The standard Chevrolet MyLink system features a 7-inch color touchscreen with sharp graphics, Bluetooth, and smartphone app integration. For 2016, it also included Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
- Connectivity: The vehicle comes with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot through the OnStar telematics system.
- Trims: The Spark EV was available in two trims, 1LT and 2LT, with the 2LT adding minor interior upgrades like leatherette upholstery.
