 - 2004–2007 trims: The initial trim levels were XE, SE, and LE.
 - 2008+ changes:
- A longer wheelbase model was introduced, offering a longer 8-foot-3-inch bed for the King Cab and a 7-foot-3-inch bed for the Crew Cab.

 - Driver airbag cover: A safety recall was announced for the 2004–2012 Titan to address the driver-side airbag cover.
 - ABS actuator pump: A recall was issued for an ABS actuator pump seal that could leak brake fluid, leading to an electrical short and potential fire.
 - Engine stalling: Certain 2005 and 2006 models were recalled for engine stalling issues.
 - Seatbelt issues: A recall was issued for 2004 King Cab trucks due to potential wiring issues affecting the seatbelt pretensioners.
