- 6.2L Flex-Fuel Gas V8 (standard on F-250 and F-350): Delivers 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a heavy-duty TorqShift-G six-speed automatic transmission on the F-250, and was also available with the new 10-speed transmission.
- All-New 7.3L V8 Gas Engine: This new-for-2020 “Godzilla” engine produces 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque and was available for all Super Duty models.
- Updated 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel Engine: An improved third-generation Power Stroke diesel offered best-in-class 475 horsepower and a massive 1,050 lb-ft of torque.
- TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission: An all-new 10-speed automatic with selectable drive modes became standard on all models except the F-250 with the 6.2L gas engine.
- F-250:
- Towing: Up to 22,800 lbs with the diesel engine and Gooseneck Hitch Kit.
- Payload: Up to 4,260 lbs.
- F-350:
- Towing: Up to 20,000 lbs conventional or 32,500 lbs (fifth-wheel/gooseneck).
- Payload: Up to 7,033 lbs.
- F-450:
- Towing: Up to 24,200 lbs conventional or 37,000 lbs (gooseneck), available only with the 6.7L diesel engine.
- F-550 Chassis Cab: Available with either the 7.3L gas or 6.7L diesel engine.
- GVWR: Up to 19,500 lbs.
- F-600 Chassis Cab: Offered a higher weight rating in a more compact chassis.
- GVWR: Up to 22,000 lbs.
- Driver-assist technology: Available features included a new Pro Trailer Backup Assist, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane-Keeping Alert.
- Connectivity: The trucks included FordPass Connect with 4G connectivity, with multiple USB ports and available wireless phone charging.
- Camera systems: An Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System with a 360-degree camera was available on all models.
- Interior: The cab designs were comfortable and spacious, with various seating and trim options.
